Preliminary CREFC Spring Conference out now

On Friday last week, CREFC Europe published the preliminary programme for its two-day annual Spring conference, held at the London offices of Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP over 2-3 April.

The conference kicks off with two educational sessions:  John Cole, European Real Estate, at Guggenheim Partners is running a session on development finance, after which BAML CMBS analyst Mark Nichol is running an introduction to property lending session.

These two sessions are targeted at junior market participants and students and are offered complimentary to member companies. Nominal fees and bulk discounts are available to non-member companies sending junior employee.

After the conference’s official welcoming remarks by CREFC Europe CEO, Peter Cosmetatos, Goldman Sachs International’s Ramon Camina-Mendizabal will moderate a session on commercial real estate finance in Italy and Spain.

Among the confirmed moderators for the second day include Starwood Capital Europe’s Peter Denton, who will chair a session on buyers on distressed real estate debt, and Eastdil Secured’s Riaz Azadi, who will chair a panel discussion which looks at origination to hold versus originate to distribute in the new lending environment.

Panelists for these sessions, and more besides, are still being finalised. If you are interested in joining one of the sessions, please email  Carol Wilkie or call her directly on +44 (0)20 3651 5567.
