Cerberus hires former Hudson Advisors European president Ron Coggle

Cerberus Capital Management has hired Ron Coggle in its European real estate team, after leaving Lone Star-owned Hudson Advisors last October.

Cerberus logoCoggle, the former European president at Hudson Advisors where he spent nine years, started on Monday at Cerberus.

Coggle is credited with helping to build Hudson’s Germany loan servicing platform, which is owned by Lone Star. His remit included heading up special servicing, as well as overseeing asset management strategies for loan workouts.

Philippe Couturier replaced Coggle at Hudson Advisors, joining from Goldman Sachs’ affiliate Archon Group.

Last year, Coggle was linked to a move with Apollo Capital Management’s loan servicing subsidiary Lapithus as well as CBRE Loan Servicing, which eventually hired former Hatfield Phillips managing director Clarence Dixon to replace Paul Lloyd who left last October.

Lloyd is setting up a new European real estate loan servicing platform with Mount Street Capital partners Ravi Joseph and Bill Sexton for Greenfield Partners and Raith Capital Partners. Lloyd starts next month.
